Yi minority is ancient with a long history, which is located in the southwest of China. Its population is nearly eight million, which is more than some other minorities. Thanks to the specificity of its regional environment, and the less influence from the central dynasty and the surroundings. Liang Shan remains its Original Ecology Culture. A specific legal culture has existed since ancient times-Custom Low-which is the uniquely representation of the legal system of Liang Shan. It remains its whole system with rich content and minority characteristics. It is very important for today’s Yi minority and it protects the social order of the Yi minority regions.Since 2013, the author has began collecting the information and literature of the Custom Low to know more about the Liang Shan Yi minority to make prepare for the research behind. The author has come to Liang Shan Zhao Jue for twice for further field-work by interviewing local people face-to-face and issuing questionnaires, even participating in their living instance of the common low dispute and mediation and the school’s legal education class. In addition, the author also visited some primary and secondary schools of Zhao Jue, to get more information of the current situation of the local school’s legal education. All the experiences the author has experienced, such as, the mediation and dispute and the process of the class, makes the author know the Yi people’s life and their legal culture deeply. Finally, the author find that the custom low not only has positive effects on local teenagers’behaviors and thoughts, but also has the corresponding effects on local legal education. For the teenagers’legal education of minority regions, it is necessary to consider the effects of the custom low, and closely combine the actual situation of the minority regions to explore a effective way of schools’ legal education.In this research, the author collected much literature and presented the concept, the origin, the heritage and development of the custom law. Then the author made field-work in Liang Shan Yi minority regions to feel their own living habits and then find out the influence factors for teenagers’behaviors and thoughts. At the same time, the author also visited the students and teachers there to know the current situation of local school’s legal education and analyzed the reasons. At last, the author analyzed the custom low and found out some teaching resources which are good for local legal education, then put forward some effective ways and corresponding countermeasures for school’s legal education.
