It has been more than ten years to carry out the "national culture into campus" activity for Guizhou province.All kinds of schools at all levels carry out various activities to promote the national culture inheritance and protection.Kaili University is also actively response to the call of the government to explore the new form of national culture inheritance and protection, and set up the national culture inheritance class. The student should be from junior middle school under the age of 18 years fromQiandongnanprefecture, learning national culture knowledge and skills according to the professional in the form of class.The study with the national culture inheritance classinKailiuniversityas the object of the research.adopts questionnaire methods, interview methods and participatory observationmethodsand so on. It investigates and analyses the national culture inheritance class, such as the history, scale and form, orientation and target, course setting and teaching organization, as well as the effect and evaluation.Thestudy found that Kaili University is the only higher education institution inQiandongnan prefecture, running the national culture inheritance class.nurturing many talentsin the aspect of national music, national art and national sport.The students are on behalf of Guizhou province for many times to take part in a number of province’s and country’sevents,and get good grades, is well received by the society. But the national culture inheritance class in the process of running the class is also faced with many difficulties, including the orientation is not clear, training target is difficult to implement, students’academic is low, the teachers" lever is relatively weak, students’employment is hard, these problems hinder the inheritance and protection of national culture.The reason mainly lies in the following aspects:a single school principal,the shortage of educational funds,lack of perfect regulation system, no reference to the talent training scheme, etc.At last, the author puts forward the suggestions to improve the national culture inheritance class’s education. Firstly,government, industry, businesses, schools should run the national culture inheritance class together. Secondly, We shouldstrengthen the construction of teaching staff. Thirdly, learningfrom the experience of its school, we should be based on our own characteristics to improve the talent training scheme. Finally,we should establish and perfect the supervision evaluation system.
