Parents using scientific museum resources to educate young children means that parents of children at the age of 3-6 using the material resources, human resources and other resources of scientific museum to promote the development of young children.The relevant documents about it was first analyzed.The theoretical base contains:The theories of Ecological Psychology,Constructivism,and Learning by Doing Theory.Apart from observation as well as questionnaire-survey,the author also uses interviewing as the method. The thesis aims to explores the value, preparation, time, palace,activities, ways, problems and influencing factors about the parents using scientific museum resources to educate young children.There are many positive results from the research,for example,parents gradually recognize the education value of scientific museum;lots of parents take young children to scientific museum again and again;young children’s freedom to choose certain area of scientific museum is respected;parents hope children participate in different activities;through some tactics.parents know how to make the best use of the resources in scientific museum.On the other hand,some negative aspects are also seen from the research,such as,parents don’t know how to respect children’s positive willing,making them feel unhappy during the process;children need simple illustration in order to understand exhibition but parents aren’t aware of this;children ask their parents some questions but only receive careless answers;parents interrupt children,which makes children difficult to concentrate on what they are doing.Finally,some suggestions are given.Parents ought to recognize the educational value of scientific museum;make relevant preparation before go to the museum;improve their teaching ability;pay attention to their own behavior and bring children to scientific museum for many times if possible.Scientific museum should report more and better about itself;check frequently and repair on time;try to renew it;organize the volunteer better;and originate new ways to improve children’s development.
