In terms of intercultural communication, interpersonal conflicts can’t be avoided. It is important for both parties to resolve conflict. In this research,6 Chinese mangers employed by Japanese affiliated companies for a long time were interviewed on how they dealt with interpersonal conflicts among their bosses. The results of the analysis show that:(1) 7 kinds of conflict-resolving strategies were used. They are "avoidance", "accommodation", "competition", "collaboration", "compromise", "expressing opinions in other places", and " intermediation of a third party". Among these, "expressing opinions in other place", "intermediation of a third party" are two new ways. (2)The ways of strategy use are divided into "separate use" and "chain use". And chain use is a new finding. (3) As for separate use, "avoidance" is used most, "collaboration" is used lest. Avoidance, which is often considered as a negative reaction, was used with concept change. So avoidance here isn’t a negative reaction. From chain use, two patterns, "avoidance/accommodation+competition" and "competition+ accommodation", are extracted. This shows that while Chinese mangers prefer using competition to express their opinions, they also can’t express their opinions out of fear of their bosses’power. In the future of business Japanese education, these examples in this survey can be used in cases study. I look forward that through case study, Japanese learners can know what happens at the Japanese speaking scene, as well as their ’ability to analyse and solve problems can be developed.
