"Drama in education" is introducing drama concept, elements, methods and means in educational activities in order to improve the teaching effect, promote the development of students’ learning, ability and character development."Drama in education" meets students’ diverse needs and it has a profound meaning in the development and implementation in educational area: to enhance students’ expression ability, cultivate students’ team spirit, strengthen students’ sense of community, and foster a healthy personality.Upholding the concepts of "widening language learning channel","developing language potential", and "increasing culture accumulation", the author envisaged the whole course, set course target, refined spiral rose of courses content: "Fable puppet show” in first grade, "Idiom pantomime" in second grade, "One-act play" in third grade, "Children’s play" in fourth grade,"Original campus drama" in fifth grade. These contents are well organized and arranged in progressive layers.The Curriculum implementation follows the "4-5 mode" in four ways. First,to appreciate professional and classic drama show at school anniversary celebration, create plays after teachers’ guide in Chinese lessons, and perform in activities. Second, the curriculum is promoted in all five grades. Third, to encourage and guide students create in a multiple and diverse way through learning in clubs. Forth, creating and performing plays through school clubs in allfive grades.The evaluation of the curriculum includes five dimensions of multi-evaluation,which are, "cooperative attitude", "problem solving skills", "stage performance", "language learning", and "willingness to communicate". A variety ways of demonstration is also designed for this curriculum which includes classroom observations, displays, live performances, conversations and portfolios.
