Curriculum reform in elementary education encourages schools to develop suitable curriculum for the school itself. Under the guidance of new curriculum ideas, Shanghai Nanhui high school determined to develop a series of school-based curriculum to meet students needs. Chemical school-based curriculum development teams have developed a chemical associated with healthy eating school curriculum. Course name called “the tongue on the chemistry”.This study of “the tongue on the chemistry” of the school-based curriculum development, research on how to develop a chemistry school-based curriculum that meet student ’ developmental needs. Focuses on the topic of course selection, teaching strategies, and evaluation way change. Strive to make learning in real-life background, through independent scientific inquiry activities and cooperative learning, learning to solve chemistry problems related to daily life and healthy eating. Using mainly process evaluation of multiple evaluation methods, in order to promote the development of students.This study uses action research method. Questionnaires to the students in the curriculum development process, teachers, specialists, principals e tc were interviewed with question, exploring, and a critical attitude, to reflect on the problems encountered and the research in finding solutions to problems, strategy, and methods, and implemented through concrete action to perform.Research conclusions are as follows:” the tongue on the chemistry” of the school-based curriculum closed students life and stimulate students ’ enthusiasm for learning in chemistry, teaching strategies varied, realizing the transformation of students ’ learning styles, so that students learn how to learn and to develop curriculum multiple evaluation, and can regulate the students ’ learning process, mining potential and advantages.In order to further promote the development of school-based curriculum, the study puts forward the following recommendations: 1, the enhancement of teachers ’ professional qualities; 2, the establishment of school-based curriculum development in system security.
