“Kindred theme” is an important part of Chinese language teaching in senior high school and bears multiple functions, including the educating of kindred, human accomplishment and harmonic society. Over the years, however, no agreement has been reached on such teaching problems as “How to implement kindred education?”, “How to balance humanity and utilization?” and “How to combine emotion and knowledge teaching?” Hence, teachers shall explore beautiful articles in teaching materials and guide the students to read between lines. The themes of loving others and self-respect in the articles shall be employed to educate the students, who can comprehend and cultivate family affection, and feel family affection as well. Based on the Chinese language classroom teaching in senior high school, this dissertation will take kindred theme teaching as an example to put forward the teaching strategy of integration of knowledge and emotion. It is hoped that great results can be reached with kindred theme teaching.This dissertation is made up of three chapters. Chapter One focuses on emotional education in classical Chinese in respect of orientation and value. In this chapter, the conceptions of emotional education and emotional teaching, connotation and current situation are demonstrated. Besides, necessity and significance of the emotional teaching in classical Chinese are analyzed as well. In Chapter Two, there is an analysis of contents of kindred theme teaching in classical Chinese. In Chapter Three, teaching strategies of kindred theme teaching have been explored from three perspectives, including creating situations to arouse emotions, mutual promotion of emotions and knowledge and the improvement of effectiveness of classroom teaching and the implementation of interactive teaching, all of which are elaborated in accordance with the texts and teaching practice.
