| With the development of social economy, the increasing demand for spiritual civilization and the enrollment expansion of art and sports school, the number of art and sports students has been increasing in recent years. But there are many problems about the management of this special group. The school also lacks the management style that adapts the development of them. But quality education calls for the self-management of students, the characteristics of art and sports students also provide the basis for the realization of its independent management.Throughout the current academic research status, the study literature about the art and sports students dispersed in periodicals in China, focusing on the cultivation of college art and sports students. Those suggested that the high school art and sports students, this special group,are not paid enough attention to. we lack the researches on high school art and sports students’ management.This study based on the practical experience of independent management of high school art and sports students in A School. Through questionnaires of the students and the interviews of teachers and leaders, this Study investigated the present situation from four aspects of class management, professional training, cultural learning and community activities status of the high school art and sports students’ self-management. It found out the existing problems from the three aspects of the school, teachers and the students. The main problems of the school are the defects of the school management mechanism, the lack of professional teachers and students’ autonomous management platform. The main problems of the teachers are part of them has old concepts, moreover,they lack the targeted teaching management in their class and community management guidance. The main problems of the students are that they lack tenacity and self-discipline, besides, they learn knowledge passively, they have the conflict of professional training and cultural learning.Throughout reflection and exploration, the author put forward the following measures for these problems: improve school management mechanism, build students’ self-management platform through some activities, establish evaluation system to promote the overall development of the students, improve teachers’ professional level, change the traditional concept of the teachers, pay attention to the cultural teaching management and guide the work of community.On the basis of practice, this study provided empirical demonstration for the high school art and sports students’ self-management theory. It will help the leaders to find the existent problems of the art and sports school management, the teacher to find the method of management of art and sports students and the students to be independent, to explore and practice opportunities, promote their overall development. |
