Preschool education draws an increasing attention in education field and teacher training is strongly supported by government policies. Both the Fourth National Conference on Education and the Outline Plan for National Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development(2010-2020) put teachers at a strategic position. In 2010, the central government invested55 million in the “National Training Plan” to guarantee a training per five years for each teacher. “Several Opinions of the State Council on the Development of Pre-school Education” and the video-phone conference on national Pre-school education further demonstrated the government’s determination to scientifically develop and improve the course of Pre-school education. The complexity and variety of educational objects and context demand highly professional kindergarten teachers. The national training plan for kindergarten teachers have implemented for 3 years since the issue of the Circular of Implementing National Training Plan for Kindergarten Teachers.How is the effect of short-term intensive training of key kindergarten teachers draws my attention.Based on the “Effect Assessment on National Training Plan for Kindergarten Teachers--Forecast Volume of Questionnaires About Teachers Under Training” compiled by the teachers’ department under the Ministry of Education, “National Training Plan--Outline on Interview for Teachers under the short-term full time training project” and “National Training Plan--Outline on Interview for Head Teachers in the short-term full time training project, this paper draws teachers samples from 5 high schools trained by Hunan Province, organizes and classifies interviews after logging,arranging and applying statistics to all data with SPSS17.0, profoundlyunderstands the training effect of the “National Training Plan” on key kindergarten teachers in Hunan Province, analyzing factors effecting the training effect, thus finding tactics to improve training effect.Research shows:1.Key kindergarten teachers under training generally have a higher degree and are more urgent to improve themselves; teachers are satisfied about the overall training, but the set target is not fully achieved.2.Training updated teachers’ concept about child education; it enriched teachers’ knowledge about child education, but still has a long way to go; it improved teachers’ education scientifically, but lacks practical operating.3. Teachers under training can apply what they learn in child care process, but some knowledge still can not be put into practice in short time.4. Training benefits both teachers and children in many aspects.5. Why they joined the training, whether they are aware of the training target and whether a consultant about demand is made before training have a overt influence on training effect.Statistics shows that this research provides a rational reference for the coming short-term intensive training project under “National Training Plan”:education authorities should publicize to ensure key kindergarten teachers join the training; organizing departments should do all to maximize training effect; professional training team should make flexible courses according to learners’ level; kindergarten should be supportive concerning applying what teachers learn to practice; teachers under training should study hard, never leave doubts, feel free to practice and share experience.
