This study focuses on the application of modern educational technology in English situational teaching in secondary vocational schools. Current theoretical researches on situational teaching at home and abroad have been relatively mature. With the advent of educational information products, such as "MOOC", "micro class" and "flipped classroom", modern educational technology shows irreplaceable advantages. Many researchers have begun empirical researches about creating teaching situations through modern educational technology. For now, most studies are concerned with basic education, and few have focused on vocational education. Subsequent studies will expand the time and the scope of the study, striving for greater breadth and depth to draw more scientific conclusions.
