Technology empowers the modernization of education.Virtual Reality(VR)technology has been widely used in the education field and has increasingly become a research focus in the education field.With the upgrading of our country’s industry and the growing needs of the people for a better life,the social service industry needs a large number of high-quality talents.Secondary vocational schools are the cradle of delivering high-skilled compound talents to the society,and the training of high-quality talents cannot do without the support of etiquette courses.In-depth integration of secondary vocational etiquette courses with VR technology,to enhance the etiquette and professional skills of secondary vocational students in a visual,participatory and interesting teaching method,it is particularly necessary to provide high-quality and high-quality service personnel for the social service industry.This research uses the ADDIE instructional design model as a theoretical guide,and according to the characteristics of virtual reality technology,constructs a VR situational instructional design model for the etiquette courses of secondary vocational schools.Based on the model,a VR scenario teaching software for the signing ceremony was developed,the software copyright was applied to the China Copyright Protection Center,and the software was applied to the teaching implementation to verify its teaching effect.This research first defines VR technology,situational teaching and situational learning,guided by behaviorist learning theory,constructivism theory and ADDIE instructional design model theory,sorts out relevant research status at home and abroad,and fully understands the application situation of VR situational teaching in etiquette courses.Then,using the questionnaire survey and interview methods to investigate the teaching status of the etiquette courses in secondary vocational schools,analyzes the current problems in the teaching of etiquette courses in secondary vocational schools,and constructs the teaching analysis,teaching design,the VR situational teaching design model of the middle vocational etiquette course composed of five stages of VR software development,teaching application and teaching evaluation.In addition,based on the constructed model,the selected secondary vocational etiquette course teaching cases used VR technology to design the situational teaching,developed the signing ceremony VR situational teaching software,and adopted the quasi-experimental research method for the two parallels of Qingdao L School Hotel Service and Management Major Classes carried out comparative experiments with traditional teaching and VR situational teaching respectively,and tested the teaching effect of the VR situational teaching design model of the secondary vocational etiquette course through questionnaire surveys,performance tests and interviews.The final research result shows that the teaching effect of VR situational teaching is more significant than that of traditional teaching.VR situational teaching can enable students to achieve multi-sensory linkage,optimize learning experience,stimulate learning interest,promote independent inquiry ability,knowledge application ability and etiquette literacy,and improve the degree of satisfaction with classroom teaching.This research uses advanced VR technology to break through the limitations of traditional teaching,and proves the application effect of VR situational teaching in secondary vocational etiquette courses.In the research process,the developed VR situational teaching software can enrich the teaching resources of secondary vocational etiquette courses,and the constructed VR situational teaching design model of secondary vocational etiquette courses can provide ideas and references for other courses of secondary vocational education.
