In the current era of image, the widespread popularity of visual culture education thought, so the image of the observation, interpretation, introduction of the basic characteristics, becomes a more close to this with appreciation course, the teaching of fine arts has become "the picture is the righteous", especially in the ordinary high school fine arts teaching, the students simply pay attention to the painting techniques, ignoring the students to understand the image generated by the laws, the study of image generation method, the image beauty of evaluation. Will be in fine arts teaching in training students’ ability of reading, let students enjoy the vision, the further understanding of culture and cultural identity, is conducive to protect, inherit and carry forward Chinese culture. At the same time under the background of new curriculum reform, pay attention to the humanity and balance of technical, better realize the value of the ordinary high school art appreciation course and function. Anyhow, raises student’s reading ability, not only to let students gain knowledge of fine arts, cultivate and exercise their own learning, aesthetic and practical ability, so as to improve their artistic accomplishment, grasp the spirit of the Chinese and western painting, compare the different and similarities. In order to promote quality education, promote the all-round development of students.The author to the cultivation of high school students the ability of reading in the ordinary high school fine arts appreciation lesson teaching, illustrates an application case, the purpose is to study the cultivation of the ability of reading and ordinary high school fine arts appreciation lesson teaching research. This thesis mainly has six each chapter:The definition and connotation of the first chapter is about the research. To read the first diagram and related concept definition, determine the scope of the research of this paper. And analyzes the map reading and generally appreciate the similarities and differences.The second chapter to the ordinary high school art appreciation curriculum under the new curriculum standard training goal and the analysis, determine the scope of the research of this paper. Then combined with the ordinary high school art appreciation curriculum under the new curriculum standard training objectives as the breakthrough point, to introduce the cultivation of the ability of reading and ordinary high school art appreciation teaching research.:Chapter iii map reading ability in the high school fine arts appreciation lesson teaching present situation investigation. Using questionnaire survey and interviews to investigate the way of combining relevant investigation to the teachers and students.The fourth chapter focuses on the map reading ability training in art appreciation in high school teaching theory and teaching strategies. High school art curriculum standard requirement for art appreciation, and constructivism theory as the main theoretical basis, teaching design and practice. Combined with the principle of diversification of assessment and evaluation content comprehensive, self-evaluation, mutual evaluation with the combination of effective teaching of teachers and evaluation.The fifth chapter, the teaching case, namely the artist serious themselves and the image to the eyes, each case has two classes, cases including each class teaching goal, teaching content and course and teaching reflection, etc.Chapter 6 map reading ability in the high school fine arts appreciation lesson teaching thinking and understanding, and summarizes the achievements and existing problems, difficulties and some enlightenment and outlook, but also by their own practice research, this paper sums up the map reading ability training in the high school fine arts appreciation course teaching the basic principles and general method.I will be to develop the students’ ability of reading pictures, use a variety of teaching methods, in the process of teaching students in the whole teaching activities of the training and exercise its own aesthetic, practice and cooperation ability, to understand the Chinese and western different aesthetics and the differences between eastern and western culture and value, and gradually won the identity and sense of belonging to the art class.
