Employment problem remains a major social problem for College Students in this new era. By 2015, the number of graduates will reach 7.49 million. University graduates’ employment is still severe. During this year’s annual political sessions, the idea "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" is mentioned in the government work report by premier Li Keqiang. It encourages college students to use variety of ways to promote employment and the idea "using entrepreneurship to drive employment" has become an effective tool to solve the employment problems. At the same time, entrepreneurship education for students has become a key part for college students to succeed in business. Hubei provincial government also makes efforts to support students in entrepreneurial activity in the new era and increases investment for entrepreneurship education in order to maximize the college students’entrepreneurial potential.As of July 9,2014, the number of colleges and universities in Wuhan is 64. Vocational colleges accounts for roughly the half. The number is 33. According to recent years’situation in Wuhan, there are about 300,000 college graduates each year. Thus, there are more than 100,000 vocational college graduates each year in Wuhan. Besides personal ability and a series of factors, these vocational colleges’graduates lose in the starting line of career for life.Entrepreneurship education held in vocational college aims to better promote students’ abilities in all aspects, which enable the vocational college students not to be inferior to the undergraduates who have bachelor’s degree. It is necessary to be clear that, the enterprise education in higher vocational college doesn’t require all the students to conduct a series of self-employment activities after the enterprise education courses, this is impractical and unachievable. In fact, self-employment should be influenced by variety of complicated factors, while the success of self-employment need much more factors, which will not be discussed here now. The enterprise education in higher vocational college clarified in this paper is aim to actively carry out suitable courses and practical activities that coordinated with students under the premise of college’s attention, so that improve the comprehensive entrepreneurial ability and quality of students, help them to find the right ways in future career and strengthen their advantages in competition with others, then further promote the increasing number of self-employment and successful self-employment and thus improve the employment quality. For example, can the self-employment number of those more than one hundred thousand graduated students of higher vocational college in Wuhan city each year increase to 5%-8% or even more higher? Can the enterprise education in college give much more help for students on the aspect of practice, so that they can have a better development? In case the efficiency of improving students’ individual comprehensive quality and self-employment quality under the enterprise education is prominent, the enterprise education in higher vocational college will not only become a highlight in the field of higher education, but also enable to supply better solutions for entrepreneurial employment problem under the "New normal" economic situation in our country. As for the research of vocational colleges’ enterprise education, it will be discussed as the following five parts:The first part is an introduction. It describes the reason and purpose in choosing this topic, the significance of this topic, its domestic and oversea research status, the definition of relevant core concepts, theories basis and research ideas. This paper aims to better understand the core idea and value of entrepreneurship education according to previous research results, find deficiencies of the predecessors to complement, find a reasonable way of vocational enterprise education, and to further strengthen attention and investment of entrepreneurship education in vocational colleges.The second part is to obtain the status quo and the existing problems of entrepreneurship education in vocational colleges according to survey, research and analysis and summarize the importance and necessity of entrepreneurship education for social development.The third part is conducted through questionnaires and interviews, etc. to survey and research the vocational education and management of vocational colleges in Wuhan and summarize the current problems of entrepreneurship education in vocational colleges. Thus, a general understanding of entrepreneurship education is obtained.The fourth part analyzes the reasons to existing problems of entrepreneurship education in our country and it is analyzed from the angles-- the reasons of vocational colleges, reasons from the society and government etc.The fifth part is to address the problems in the development of entrepreneurship education in vocational college in our country through reasonable and effective proposals.Finally, as to the entrepreneurship and employment issues, this paper aims to analyze the status quo and problems of entrepreneurship education and management in vocational colleges on the basis of national policies in this new era, which is targeted for the wide-spread entrepreneurship and employment problems of college students. The views on this issue are obtained through surveys, interviews and analysis, and they have certain characteristics of the times.
