A Study On The Cultivation Of Students' Entrepreneurial Consciousness In Private Vocational And Technical Colleges

The contradiction between the supply and the demand of entrepreneurial talents surges increasingly with the promotion of Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation in domestic.At the aspect of talents demand,a number of policies have been issued by governments in succession to promote their self-entrepreneurship,and created an active entrepreneurial atmosphere.Enormous entrepreneurship opportunities are provided with the development of Internet+.At the aspect of talents supply,however,enterprise education(EE)in college is not suitable for the development of the situation and the present needs.The utilitarian orientation of enterprise education is very obvious in Private Vocational and Technical Colleges(PVTCs)especially,which makes students' entrepreneurial consciousness(EC)and practice are divorced from society needs,and created talents supply constraints.Further analysis on EE system and EC cultivation in colleges is necessary to explore the methods to address the weakness of EC in talents supply side.The cultivation of students' EC is the focus of college entrepreneurship education.This study is conducted to analyse the cultivation of students' EC in PVTCs,to summed up the connotation and internal mechanism logic of students' EC by analyzing and summarizing the current situation of students' EC,which based on the position of development of PVTCs,applying some theories such as Existentialism,Humanistic Psychology,using a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods,and taking Guangzhou X College as example,and results indicated:(1)the students in PVTCs generally have a sense of entrepreneurship,but is weak;and(2)EEC has the greatest impact on students' overall entrepreneurial consciousness(OEC);(3)students' personal characteristics,family background and school education have a significant influence on the their EC;(4)the formation of the students' EC in PVTCs follows the ‘exogenous' path.On this basis,the strategy of implementing EE and developing EC is put forward for PVTCs.Finally,based on the existing constraints of collages and students,the advice and strategy of implementing EE and developing EC are put forward for PVTCs from the aspects of teaching system,teaching staff,resources integration,platform building,alumni liaison and cooperation.
