With the advance of reform of new curriculum in high school, as well as the changes from education for exams to education for all-around development, to raise the perfect personality and the basic attainments for citizens has been put first in education. Without doubt, history teaching in high school has great advantage over other subjects in raising basic attainments of modern citizens. With the aid of rich humanity resources of history disciplines, it plays a vital part in the accomplishment of the aim of high school education and the practice of the socialism core values by developing emotion manner and values education well. The choice of breakthrough point of emotion manner and values education is a necessary factor in developing both of them. It goes without saying that whether you could choose the right breakthrough point in achieving the aim of the education of emotion manner and values education.It requires us to transform our ideas in the implementation emotion manner and values education and even more necessary to provide exact implement approach for the basic teachers. This article is committed to exploring the breakthrough point in emotion manner and values education in high school, responding to such voice. On the basic of implementation of specific checking investigation and the thorough research of high school history curriculum standard, this article forms four angles of view on the emotion manner and values education in history teaching: the patriotism, the esthetic education, the moral sentiment and realization of modern citizens aspect. There are four big principles in establishing the choice of breakthrough point in emotion manner and values education: the principle of combination with the students’previous experience, the principle of benefit of students’experience, the principle of combination of the three-dimensional aid, the principle of combination of history and social reality. Four ways to choose the breakthrough point in the practical operation in emotion manner and values education have been concluded: the choice of ways for breakthrough point, the choice of materials for breakthrough point, the choice of main body for breakthrough point and the choice of time for breakthrough point. Three main characteristics of the choice of breakthrough point are extracted in high school emotion manner and values education. Finally, this article summarizes and analysis some of the misunderstanding in high school history education in emotion manner and values education. These exploration practices provide new methods for the operation of emotion manner and values education in high school history teaching, advancing the thorough development of new curriculum reform. At the same time, it also powerfully coordinates the socialism core education, enhances national cohesion and the self-confidence and makes great contribution to reviving the great Chinese dream.
