Today, parent-school cooperative has become a trend in the development of education in the world. To ensure the normal operation of the parent-school cooperative activities, countries invest a lot of manpower, financial and material resources from legislation, setting up institutions, supervising the implementation. The relationship between family education and school education is considered to be the opposite, sometimes in some developing countries, by the school to teach the knowledge may be opposed to the traditional values of family, some families often think of school as a strange world, they neither know rules of the school, nor understand the purpose of the school. In our country, along with the new curriculum reform, schools and parents, the importance and necessity of cooperation has been widely accepted. Many schools have also begun from the perspective of parent-school cooperative this reform, but in practice of the home school cooperation, we found that there are still some problems, such as lack of teachers’and parents’awareness, parents’enthusiasm to participate in is not high, schools have no complete parent-school cooperative plan, parent-school cooperative become a mere formality, and so on. Primary school is a critical stage in the development of children. It is also children’s main place of life and study started by moving from the family to the school, and the child’s overall health development under the function is only achieved in schools, teachers and parents. Therefore, the real dialogue between parents and teachers must be carried out. Coordinated development requirements of children’s school education and family education complement each other, and to explore the parent-school cooperative path is an urgent job.The main content of this study include:The first part is introduction from the analysis of the background, education reform era development requirement analysis, the analysis of the grim reality challenge three aspects illuminates the research origin. Through reading related literature both at home and abroad, to the elementary school, the school education, family, family education, parent-school cooperative main concept to define, such as from the value of the parent-school cooperative, parent-school cooperative research present situation and countermeasure research, parent-school cooperative pattern research, parent-school cooperative international comparative research and so on. Four aspects of current situation of domestic parent-school cooperative, to the United States, Britain, Japan, Singapore and other developed countries parent-school cooperative research status are analyzed to put forward the aim of this study, significance, and explain research methods.The second part includes analysts of school cooperation, interest group theory, social capital theory embedded impact theory, overlapping domain theory, etc. And I’ll take them as the theoretical basis of this study.The third part is analysis of the parent-school cooperative’s purpose, status, role, and communication characteristics. Based on this, I’ll expound the parent-school cooperative development of children, to the function of social development, the development of education.The fourth part is by doing questionnaire and interview as the main way of outstanding school parent-school cooperative investigation, according to the empirical data to analyze the current situation of the school parent-school cooperative, sorting through the interview data analysis of valuable cases; Home school is known to the importance of cooperation, but it still exists in the implementation of the parents and teachers to school cooperation understanding insufficiency, the lack of planning, teachers and parents of two-way communication, cooperation, less poor continuity problems, which can comb problems at the same time, It is also the reason from the viewpoints of society, school, parents and they are analyzed in detail.The fifth part is about the ultimate goal of research, which is to find the methods and strategies to solve the problem that comes in different paths for parent-school cooperative study, the author on the basis of summarizing the predecessors’ research and practical investigation, from the aspects of society, schools, teachers, parents, a few, parent-school cooperative strategies put forward to improve primary school.
