Since 2001, China has begun a new round of reform of basic education. One of the highlights of this reform is clearly state the concept of curriculum resources development and utilization. In the "Basic Education Curriculum Reform (Trial)", Ministry of Education expressly stated that "positively develop and rationally use various courses resources inside and outside.".With the continuous increase of curriculum reform, the importance of courses resources’development and utilization is increasingly causing geography education-related experts, scholars and high school geography teachers’frontline attention and people have begun to pay attention to this issue gradually, at the same time, the associated theory and practice are growing. And the local curriculum resource is one of the important parts of curriculum resources. In 2011, the Ministry of Education promulgated the "full-time compulsory education geography curriculum standards (trial version)" clearly stated that the content of "local geography" is one of the parts of four geographical curriculum in the compulsory education, "Promoting people treat the local geography as the carrier of comprehensive study." Local geography curriculum resources have a very important educational sense, because it comes from life, but also the geography of knowledge and point of integration of student life. With the development and social progress, the number of local geography curriculum resources has become increasingly diverse, and very giving local specialties.Shijiazhuang is a young and ancient city,the local geography curriculum resources here quite distinctive,for the development and utilization of local geography curriculum resources are very rich.Shijiazhuang can be traced back to the ancient far, a long history,as the capital city of Hebei Province, the rapid economic development this year,increasingly rapid urbanization, human geography resources and distinctive features.At the same time,it locates in the west of the Taihang Mountains, across the North China Plain, the Taihang Mountains and the two geomorphic units, natural and geographical resources equally unique.In this paper, Shijiazhuang City, the specific geographic units to explore the local geography curriculum resources development and utilization of a strong theoretical and practical significance.In this study, the latest curriculum reform and curriculum standards for background,and constructivist learning theory, meaningful accepted theory, learning basic educational theory to support the migration theory.After reading a lot of literature data,the main use of the literature, interviews surveys, questionnaires and other research methods.Understanding the current situation of Shijiazhuang City, the local geography curriculum resource development and utilization process and some of the problems, and explore ways for Shijiazhuang, local geography curriculum resource development and utilization, and the prospect of Shijiazhuang local geography curriculum resource development and utilization prospected.Articles in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, Shijiazhuang City by secondary school teachers and students on the development and utilization of local geography curriculum resources to investigate,which found that the current middle school geography teaching geography curriculum development and use of local resources exist to develop teachers’ awareness of local geography curriculum resources is weak, poor ability to develop, not to establish basic local geography curriculum resources department and the preparation of local geography textbooks rarely community resources and social introduced into the geography classroom resources and neglect of students in the development of the role of local geography curriculum resources and other issues.Combined with the actual situation in Shijiazhuang City, proposed strategies to develop local geography curriculum resources introduced in the development of local geography curriculum resources through the terms of the development of teachers, students and other campus resources and practices to address these issues and to explore the local geography teaching cases curriculum resources in practical teaching, teaching values to achieve local curriculum resources.
