Group Work Of Social Support Involved In The Solitude For Aging Study

In recent years, with the rising number of elderly population, the aging problem is increasingly serious, the social support of the elderly problems also caused widespread concern in the community. Currently, the social support research about the domestic old people who live alone at home mainly includes four aspects:the concept of social support, the elderly social support status, social support effects on physical and mental health of the elderly, analysis of the sources of social support for seniors. Although in theory, this problem research has become increasingly perfect and mature, with these theory gives the problem of old people who live alone has been quantified and analyzed in detail, and bring a lot of convenience for the elderly living alone in the tangible and intangible aspects. But in practice, the combination between the theory of elderly living alone social support and the social work professional is very few. Therefore, this paper attempts to use the elderly living alone social support theory, by group of professional social work method, to explore effective ways of group work activities for the elderly living alone in the community, in order to better service for the elderly in the community, to provide reference for improving the service quality of community elderly.This study using the method of group social work, to carry out group work through four steps. First, the Y community elderly needs assessment, to understand the basic situation of the elderly living alone, so as to determine the contents and forms of activity, and then set up a targeted group.Second, make plan with the elderly living alone participating in the activities together, absorb and listen to the views of old people living alone.Third, according to the group work plan for implementation, evaluation of the effect of the activities, and observe the changes of team members, so as to continuously improve the team plans.Fourth, to evaluate the group activities, find the advantages and disadvantages of this activity, and summarize the problems, to put forward suggestions for correction.Because at present our country is in the social support theory and group work combining in elderly people living alone for the old service practice is lessBecause there are little service practice for the old people living alone combining the social support theory and group work in our country, the author hopes to provide a new perspective for the study and practice of the elderly problem. And to summarize the advantages and shortcomings of social support theory with group work in practice, so as to improve the efficiency of group work for the old service, to mobilize the enthusiasm of the elderly community participation, improve the quality of service for the elderly.
