The design concepts of textbook affect directly to the lecture teaching effect. Therefore, the new reform of curriculum put forward the textbook should be diversified development. Approved by the national secondary school textbooks authorized committee in China, the current Standard textbooks for ordinary high school are composed of three set, published respectively by the people’s education press, Shandong science and technology press, Jiangsu education publishing. At the same time, the research on textbook issue increases year by year. In this background, the disquisition for chemistry textbook analysis is of realistic meaning and practical value.Chemistry is inseparable from science development. Macromo- lecular compound plays a crucial role in the area of national economy. After the reform of curriculum this part of knowledge will be included in chemistry textbooks, different textbook has its own specialty in writing design. In order to complement each other, make full use of textbooks, teaching requires the system research on different textbooks. This paper selects the current three sets of textbooks as subjects and compares their knowledge on macromolecule compound through analyzing the domestic and foreign literature. The purpose of this paper is to provide a reference for middle school chemistry teachers to design the teaching plan, and provide reference for textbook writers.This paper selects six subjects from the three different textbooks for comparative analysis research, including the choice of contents, the title, the picture and tabulation, the module and the exercises. The arrangement of corresponding contents, the writing characteristics of each textbook and the different ways of dealing with teaching design are discussed. Some proposals are offered to the witers. In addition, we take a secondary exploitation on the lesson of “the basic methods of synthesis of Macromolecule compound” inthe textbook of people’s education for teaching design. The design concept of teaching is showed in the process. It is feasible to do such a secondary process.Results show that the writing of the textbook under the guidance of new curriculum standard is applicable to most of the students and the regions. But,it is necessary to adjust textbooks properly to different students and regional teaching with distinguishing feature. The secondary exploitation on textbooks is of twice the result with half the effort for the realization of teaching purpose and contributes to improve the quality of chemistry teaching. The writing of the textbooks should be improved in the field of contents selection in order to stimulate students’ interest.
