During the period of May to September 2014,I was fortunately to go to Thailand to practice teaching for four months. In that teaching process, I used the book provided by China Overseas Exchange Association commissioned the Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College to compile for overseas Chinese students. The book is a kind of foreign language textbook named Chinese. That provided for Asian full-time Chinese Language school.No practicing, no learning. Exercise plays an important role in teaching, so the key point is whether exercise design could reasonably and effectively takes effect.Therefore, this text chooses Chinese practicing book as researching object. Chapter one mainly introduces the summary of the research of foreign language, and analyzed the effort of research and blank area in this field.Chapter two analyzes the content of exercise textbook in the means of read and Case example analysis. It studies aspects of knowledge coverage about exercise books in pronunciation, vocabulary, sentence structure, characters, listening, reading comprehension and so forth.Chapter three, the author combined with a questionnaire surveys of students and teachers were analyzed. Teacher evaluation of the workbook with moderate difficulty and most of the teachers think the workbook is relatively satisfactory. Students think workbook is practical, moderate difficulty and interesting.Chapter four uses the method of practice research on the design of the workbook. The workbook content closely to real life, Combining knowledge and books deeply.better follows the principles of practicality; The topic quantity is set to meet the demand of the students’ practice, and at the same time also can meet the needs of the teacher’s teaching, follow the principle of the proper amount; Workbook is conforms to the characteristics of Thai students learning, the content of the practice also conforms to the elementary student’s learning psychology, in the form of practice design is effective; The content of the book vivid, forms is full of fun。Chapter five, analysis the front of the content, on the basis of summary of the teaching material practice design and puts forward some Suggestions:In the aspect of the topic quantity design should be appropriate to reduce some of the Chinese character writing practice, and add some oral communication practice. We should add some more games in topic design practice way and increase the practice item of the subject, so as to improve the students’ learning interest and participation.Chapter six, summarize the advantages and disadvantages of the book design. On the whole of the content of the practice and the students’ daily life are closely related, Practice in the form have a rich variety, the typesetting workbooks lively conforms to the elementary student’s learning psychology. The difficulty of the workbook is not too big, more suitable for primary school students in Thailand. At the same time exercise books still have some deficiencies need to improve.
