In order to ensure the development of education,the national and local policies to improve the teaching ability of pre-service teachers have been introduced in recent years,and the teaching ability of pre-service teachers has been gradually improved.As a former teacher is a newcomer to basic education,the level of educational ability directly affects the future of basic education.In order to help pre-service teachers improve their professional ability,it is necessary to construct a set of perfect evaluation system of teaching ability.To evaluate and promote development.The systematic evaluation of the comprehensive performance of pre-service geography teachers' teaching ability in China lacks a more scientific index system,especially the research on the performance evaluation of pre-service teachers is not enough.Therefore,based on the relevant documents of middle school teachers' professional standard(trial),general high school geography curriculum standard(2020 revision),geography subject knowledge and ability(senior middle school),middle school education professional certification standard and so on,based on research interviews with front-line teachers and professionals in junior high school geography,combined with the actual case analysis,a complete evaluation index system of pre-service teachers' teaching ability performance was preliminarily constructed,and he made a proposal to improve the educational ability of former teachers.Based on modern educational theory,Combined with the teaching ability needs of middle school geography teachers,To design a questionnaire on teaching ability of pre-service geography teachers,Using SPSS software and Excel data analysis tools,Average,variance,standard deviation,correlation,TTL,The weight of each evaluation standard(three-level index)is determined by the method of optimal sequence diagram.The weight distribution of the first class index is0.0625,0.3125,0.4375,0.1875,Teaching ability has the greatest weight,For example,the weight value of three-level index is 0.500.Then,based on the feedback from experts in the second round,the content of the assessment criteria was revised to form a pre-service geography teacher education ability assessment index system.Finally,we formed four elementary indicators of knowledge storage ability,educational design ability,educational implementation ability,and educational monitoring ability,and 22 secondary indicators of pedagogical knowledge and geography knowledge.Each secondary index can be divided into several expressive evaluation criteria(three-level indicators).There are 52 expressive evaluation criteria,including mastering pedagogy basic principles of pedagogy and psychology.Finally,the performance evaluation index system of pre-service geography teachers' teaching ability is used to evaluate the new middle school geography teachers to verify the scientific nature of the performance evaluation system.According to 52 expressive evaluation criteria,the evaluators rated the pre-service geography teachers,and finally calculated the total scores of pre-service geography teachers according to the weight of each index.According to the results of an example study,the teacher's training ability value index system and scoring criteria can accurately detect weaknesses in the training ability of geography teachers.In order to promote the professional ability of pre-service geography teachers to improve quickly.This index system provides a basic framework as well as a pre-job evaluation of geography teachers,at the same time,there is a certain reference significance in establishing an educational ability evaluation index system for former teachers in other departments.
