The ability of study is the quality and attitude showed in the process of study, mostly including a correct attitude, a proper action, scientific method and good study habit. Among all those, study action and study habit are the most important factors. The ability and habit of study carry the character of stability, flexibility, conditionality, multi-dimensionality and accumulatility. A good study habit is the basic requirement for students and an important guarantee for a successful education. However, in real life, lots of students do not hold the ability of study to some extent. In this paper, we try to analyze different factors (individual, family, school, internet, society) that influence the study ability of students. By questionnaire analysis we try to figure out 3 kinds of high school student’s mental pressure, study method, study habit. At last we come up with the method that in order to improve the study ability, the student have to make progress little by little and practice over and over again meanwhile capture the key timing, advocate family-school corporation etc. What’s more, to release the mental stress of students, we need the corporation between school family and students. Pay more attention to the process of study, improve our study method and raise a good study habit.
