The development of modern Wuhan is a miniature of the modern Chinese history. Many big events that affecting the process of the development of Chinese modern history events occurred here, and many important figures also successively work and live here. Alone the establishment of new China, Wuhan has pioneered dozens of revolutionary memorial museums, to carry out the patriotic propaganda, meanwhile as a reminder of revolutionary martyrs, motivate current people, enlightenment next generation. History education is closely related to the country, especially to its rise and fall of the development, to promote students’ all-round development, cultivation of healthy personality and promoting the humanities has very important significance. Wuhan announced to cancel the subject of history in the high school entrance exam since 2014, exit examination stage. This policy, lead to all the tests for the "baton"of middle school get curriculum of history in half, worsen the situation of the middle school students do not take the historical study.This paper discusses the junior middle school history teaching can change teaching concept, using the rich resources of revolutionary memorial museums, with the help of local revolutionary memorial museums opened up the second classroom, exert revolutionary memorial museums to the middle school history teaching auxiliary utility, reduce the ill effect does not take examinations of history, help students develop interest in learning, improve the humanities cultivated manners, strengthen the national consciousness.This paper consists of five parts. First, the preface has a description of the problems faced now in history teaching, the definition of revolutionary memorial museums, its development and its researches, the meaning of this research. Second, the paper discusses the feasibility of history teaching mode with revolutionary memorial museums. This part main contains too points:its possibility and the need of this mode. Third, the revolutionary memorial museums are beneficial to history teaching because they enrich the lack of teaching resources, provoke students interests and Local consciousness, develop independent study ability and other abilities. Fourth, show a case study of an important communist meeting on August 7th in 1927. At last, this paper gives a summary with the comparison of traditional and new history teaching,explains this new teaching mode’s requirements to teachers and students,advice on problems to be noted.
