The revolutionary tradition refers to the fine style of work,noble morals and spiritual qualities that the Chinese people,under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,have unremittingly demonstrated in the course of revolutionary struggle,construction and reform for national independence and rejuvenation.The revolutionary tradition originated from the May 4th Movement,the revolutionary struggle led by the Communist Party of China after the founding of the People's Republic of China,and has been further developed and matured in the process of construction and reform after the founding of new China.It is the precious spiritual wealth of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese people.History curriculum has rich educational resources of revolutionary tradition,which is an important way to carry out revolutionary tradition education.The implementation of revolutionary tradition education in junior middle school history curriculum is not only of great significance for inheriting Chinese revolutionary culture,inheriting and carrying forward excellent revolutionary tradition,but also a fundamental requirement for the implementation of the task of moral education in the new era.On the basis of defining the concept of revolutionary tradition education,this paper studies the implementation of revolutionary tradition education in junior middle school history curriculum.Through questionnaire survey and interview with students and teachers in junior middle schools in Chengdu,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the implementation of revolutionary tradition education in junior middle school history curriculum.It is mainly manifested in the following aspects: schools do not pay enough attention to the revolutionary traditional education,teachers and students do not have a deep understanding of the revolutionary traditional education,students accept the revolutionary traditional education under pressure,the innovative ways and methods of the revolutionary traditional education are not enough,and there is a certain gap between urban and rural revolutionary traditional education.In view of these problems,this paper carries on the attribution analysis,and puts forward the strategy of implementing the revolutionary tradition education in junior middle school history curriculum.It is emphasized that the revolutionary tradition education should be carried out in the history curriculum of junior middle school,the content of textbooks should be selected and integrated,and the curriculum of revolutionary tradition education should be set up,so as to integrate the revolutionary tradition education into the history classroom organically.Fully develop and utilize the revolutionary traditional education resources in history textbooks,libraries,revolutionary memorial halls and films and TV plays,and enrich the revolutionary traditional education and teaching content.To optimize the teaching strategy of revolutionary traditional education,we should improve the traditional telling method,create historical situation,tell revolutionary stories well,integrate multimedia technology and carry out red research travel practice activities.Teachers should improve the quality of their own revolutionary traditional education and stimulate students' interest in learning the content of revolutionary traditional education,so as to enhance the teaching ability of implementing the revolutionary traditional education.Through the cooperation of family,school and society,to establish a trinity of revolutionary traditional education guarantee mechanism.Clarify the common points and emphases of the revolutionary tradition education and the "Four histories" education,and deal with the relationship between the revolutionary tradition education and the "Four histories" education.In the specific strategies of implementing the revolutionary traditional education,this paper discusses the contents of textbooks in order to provide effective suggestions and improvement measures for the implementation of the revolutionary traditional education and promote the development of the revolutionary traditional education.
