The purpose of vocational education in China is to cultivate a large number of high-quality workers and skilled talents. With the change of the concept of people, the higher vocational colleges are becoming popular in prospective university students and their parents. For example, although the number of people who take part in the College Entrance Examination is reducing year by year in Hubei province, but the number of people who take part in the Higher vocational exam and the Skilled Entrance Examination is increasing year by year. At the same time, the number of the higher vocational college recruiting students which come from the secondary vocational school is also increasing year by year. The situation means more ordinary high school and secondary vocational school graduates will step into the higher vocational colleges. The differences in the curriculum and learning style due to the two types of high schools respectively which belong to the general education and vocational education bring some difficulties in the teaching of basic courses. So the differences about the range and depth of knowledge which students learned in ordinary high school and secondary vocational school should be comprehensively considered in the process of the textbook compilation and the teaching of basic courses. At the same time, the students who step into the higher vocational college get relatively lower scores and their learning ability in theory are relatively weaker, so the analysis of the link condition plays an important role in eliminate the learning obstacles in basic courses. As physics is the leader of the basic science, there are some curriculums related to physics, such as electrotechnics, engineering mechanics, engineering optics and engineering thermodynamics though there are no physics curriculums in the engineering technical majors of higher vocational college, So the analysis of the link condition can help the high school students make a better transition to their learning in the higher vocational college.This thesis analyses the mandatory course and optional textbook in the ordinary school, electrotechnics textbook in the secondary vocational school and electrotechnics, engineering, mechanics, engineering optics and engineering thermodynamics textbook in the higher vocational college, studies and summaries the link condition between high school and higher vocational college. The science literacy plays a very important role in the study, life and work of high school and higher vocational school, so the feature of this thesis is analyzing and discussing the link condition about electromagnetism, mechanics, optics and thermotics between high school and higher vocational college based on four dimension (Scientific knowledge and skills, scientific method, scientific emotion, attitudes and values, STSE) of science literacy in greater detail. The results prove that the link condition of electromagnetism, mechanics between high school and higher vocational college is smooth, while the link condition of the optics and thermotics are not so smooth. At last, this thesis gives some proper suggestions on the course teaching of physics in higher vocational college based on the analysis of link condition between physics curriculum of high school and higher vocational college.This thesis is divided into four parts as followed. The first chapter introduces the background of the research, the current situation, the content and the significance. The second chapter studies the link condition about range, depth of knowledge and way of telling on electromagnetism, mechanics, optics and thermotics. The third chapter studies the way of compiling, presentation of scientific literacy of textbook about electromagnetism, mechanics, optics and thermo tics based on the perspective of scientific literacy, which perfects the second chapter. The last chapter presents the research conclusions, gives some suggestions on course teaching in correlated curriculums of higher vocational college, and introduces the innovation points of the research and further research prospect.
