Art handicraft lesson is an important part of the art lesson. For students, art handicraft can not only exercise their practical ability, but also can develop thinking, creative ability and creative spirit, enhanced logic. In recent years, China’s education has always been ahead in the process of reform, quality education has gradually spread. Especially in recent years, along with the implementation of new curriculum standards, the art education is paid more attention, but there are some issues and as a part of the art handicraft of art course, need to explore and solve.The research object of this thesis is the city of Xinxiang in Henan Province, primary school art handicraft lesson. Through the investigation on the present situation of Xinxiang city primary school opened art handicraft lesson, and strive to find the problem of course and puts forward reform ideas. Tracing back to the origin of handicraft will find hand course has a long history, as early as in China during the Qing Dynasty has been set up, and to develop a detailed course objectives, however in innovative thinking everywhere today, hand course can not give full play to the role of, can’t get enough attention in the primary school campus. Investigate its reason, it has an important relation with the public misunderstanding of manual course. How to remove the misunderstanding of Arts, to correctly understand the positive effects to the all-round development of students in the course of hand in hand, is the first task of curriculum reform.In addition, this paper will discuss the focus on the reform of the curriculum form. In the law of education and teaching of any subjects, teaching objectives, teaching syllabus will eventually be implemented in practice teaching, so to find a suitable for the implementation of art curriculum is the premise of curriculum reform. It can effectively improve the syllabus, the allocation of teachers, teaching tools. The biggest problem facing the primary school art curriculum is the teaching model of a single machine, resulting in the hand function of curriculum is not prominent, positive effects on physical and mental health of students also show out, instead of a chicken ribs are the same, in an awkward position.
