The problems appearing in Adolescent Education always reflects the real situation of one’s Home Education, while the parents are paying more and more attention to home education, the parents’ education level has a direct effect on the quality of home education. Home is the cradle for children’s growth, and parents are the children’s first and lifelong teachers since the time they are brought into the world,so the parents’ thoughts and their own Education quality as well as the way they educate their children have a direct influence on their children’ growth. Therefore, there are increasing concerns about the parents own education levels and the parents themselves as learners should keep studying in various ways to fit for the roles played in home education and for better serving home education practice as well as being helpful in their children’s growth. Still parents need to develop themselves and learn to assist to their children’s development, at the same time learn to get along well with their children to meet the need of temporary trend.Only with the involvement of parents in home education can the teenagers be provided with relative direction and help. Home education on parents is a comparatively new field in China, even fewer researches on the parents as major object. So there is great significance to research parents’continuous study for self-improvement,which in turn will promote other parents to act.Here, I based my thesis on the Adult Education, applying individual cases into the research, giving a truly and detailed description of three parents’ (one is from primary school, the other two are from Junior section and senior section of middle school) experiences in educating their children via their study process. Under the guidance of theories for parents studying, especially based on the Knowles Adult Learning Theory, Self-reflective Learning Theory, Constructivist Learning Theory, combined with individual cases, I have combed and analyzed the content and methods applied in the process of parents’study at three aspects (role playing study, self-reflective study, life-long study and 3 dimension planning)The thesis consists of five parts:The first part is a foreword mainly to introduce the cause, aim and significance of the research and the methods as well as the summarization of documentsThe second part is a theoretic research on parents’studying, analyze the detail content and the theoretic proof of their studying,The third part is mainly about parents’roles playing study and classic individual cases. describe the detailed growth process of the three children and the parents experiences and feelings during their children’s growth; the cross thinking after interlocking research the three individual cases in which the parents develop themselves in roles playing study,and give the suggestion for further study of reflective thinking.The fourth part is parents’reflective study and classic individual cased. the cross thinking after interlocking research the three individual cases in which the parents develop themselves in reflective thinking study, and offer suggestions for further reflective thinking study.The fifth part is about life-long study and its planning, together with classic individual cases. the cross thinking after interlocking research the three individual cases in which the parents develop themselves in life-long study and planning, and offer suggestions for further study planning.
