In the less developed ethnic regions, due to the effect of natural condition, geographical location, cultural tradition and historical development, compared to other regions, economic and social development is relatively backward, the development of education is also relatively backward. While the underdeveloped ethnic areas of education issues related to economic and social development of ethnic regions and related to the stability and prosperity of the country, how to better promote the development of education in ethnic minority areas is the main task facing governments of minority areas and the educational administrative department. At present, the academia and government put forward to realize the leaping-forward development of education, which is the common pursuit of Northwest region. However, we should also rationally reflect on the education of great leap forward development. How to promote the underdeveloped ethnic areas of education embarked on a reasonable road of development, and solve the problem of educational development in the ethnic minority areas.This study takes Aba Prefecture in Sichuan Province as a case, bases on the formation and connotation of system analysis in Aba Prefecture education great leap forward development and takes the rationality theory as the means. The rationality and feasibility of the problem of education great leap forward development mode has been examined comprehensively at our underdeveloped Ethnic Areas. Finally, in order to realize the new span, we put forward some optimization measures and improvement measures. The paper consists of five parts:The first part, elaborates the research background, methods and significance, and summarizes the great leap forward and rational development of education.The second part, clarify the overstepping development and the rational development about education, and make clear the great leap forward development of the framework of theoretical analysis.The third part, through the back of education development process, we can see the formation of Aba Prefecture education and see the existing problems in the development. The fourth part, combined with the actual situation in Aba Prefecture, putting the education development way on the purpose, process and result of education activities, the four angle about the overstepping development of Aba Prefecture education is analyzed comprehensively and rationality.The fifth part, through the analysis of the leaping development of Aba Prefecture education, we should put forward a few of strategies and suggestions that the underdeveloped ethnic areas in the implementation of education should insist on.
