At the policy level, the middle school sports teaching has always been an important part of basic education, starting in 2001 promulgated "physical education and curriculum standard" to recent five-year plan, all the sports, including middle school sports development as an important part of the visible physical teaching always should be taken seriously. Middle school sports is the cornerstone of the middle school stage is an important period of transition,students grow and develop sports not only to improve the students’ physical quality has a great influence, in mental development and psychological development also play an important role. Therefore, it is of great significance to research for this subject.In terms of China’s current development and problems existing in the middle school sports teaching time is long, problems, causes more complex, solve the difficulty is the main problem, has always been a lot of content about middle school sports teaching research, focus have some similarities, but there is not enough in-depth analysis problem, provide countermeasures for the lack of feasibility, main purpose is to hope that on this basis, this paper tries to overcome the shortcoming of the past, reach new heights.This paper USES the questionnaire survey, the literature material law, scene investigation, expert interview method, mathematical statistics, logic reasoning method of taizhou 21 high school of 2100 students and 251 teachers in the investigation, research of taizhou middle school sports teaching present situation, the construction on the construction of environment, the development of teachers, physical education teaching evaluation way and students’ perceptions of physical education teaching and participation.Survey results show that:(1) most of taizhou school good understanding of the importance of physical education teaching, to a certain extent but sports teaching environment construction lags behind, especially in the rural middle school;(2) the sports facilities construction capital source narrow, lack of continued funding;(3) the PE teachers’ own quality needs to be improved, teaching methods square not flexible;(4) evaluation system lag behind, unable to measure the value of sports should be.Finally summarizes the problems, from the teaching idea, teaching facilities, faculty,education teaching method and target several aspects, such as for the reasons of the existence of these problems are discussed in this paper, then targeted put forward the following Suggestions:(1) detailed executable sports teaching plan;(2) we will continue to strengthen the idea of the importance of physical education teaching;(3) to strengthen the construction ofteaching staff;(4) improve the PE teaching environment;(5) establish a perfect physical education teaching evaluation system;(6) to develop extracurricular sports activities;(7) rich teaching methods.
