As the essence of the Chinese culture, Wushu has been promoted by the state in recent years. The school as the main position of Wushu promotion plays an important role in the inheritance and development of Wushu.. And the development of the school martial arts curriculum content,teachers,venues,equipment and many other issues,hindering the development of martial arts in the school. Colleges and universities sports in PE teachers training has a unique advantage, its strategic position can not be ignored, the martial arts in the development of sports colleges and universities the logical, without any obstacles, but Wuhan Institute of physical education of Wushu routine course of the reform, exposed the Wushu set of road course selection on a series of problems. In this paper, the method of expert interview, questionnaire, mathematical statistics, logic analysis and so on, this paper analyzes the factors that affect the elective course of elective martial arts of students.. First of Wuhan Institute of physical education of Wushu professional elective courses offered to carry on the analysis, the overall grasp the school curriculum reform effect; and then to understand the students of Wushu Professional Elective Course of cognitive, exposing the students in professional Wushu Elective Elective Class of problems; secondly, in view of the problems from different aspects are analyzed. Finally, it is concluded that the following conclusions:1. Wuhan Institute of physical education of Wushu professional elective courses opened, in advertise course, curriculum and other aspects of the existing problems,causing students to understand the course is not enough, in a certain extent influence student elective.2. Students understand that the martial arts the main way is film, media and network,to the martial arts culture lack of understanding, learning motivation is not clear enough,affecting the students correct cognition to the martial arts and martial arts like degree.3. Exercise training school most of the students before the school no contact with martial arts, without a bit of martial arts foundation, on Wushu curriculum learning and knowledge and skill mastery of fear. At the same time, the contents of the course and the students’ interest in the emergence of a certain deviation, the students choose to learn andthe enthusiasm of the study.4. Wushu Professional Elective Courses in the class arrangement is not reasonable;teachers in teaching pay attention to on the routine teaching, teaching content and students’ interest with respect to some lack, student satisfaction is not high.5. The western sports and martial arts have their own characteristics, the characteristics of physical and mental development of students make the heat from Zhong simple competitive sports; Wushu culture not really based on in the university culture,have very little promotional role on martial arts.
