The Disabled People’s Employment Skills Coaching Group Practice

According to the law on the protection of disabled persons in China, disabled and healthy people enjoy equal employment rights, get paid. However, since the disabled are passively accepting help and care, there is no real independence of labor status.In recent years, although the number of disabled employment increases, but they are faced with the employment situation is still very grim. Most people can not find a suitable job, even to find a job, there are also low level of employment, income level is not high.Based on the social work empowerment theory, advocates the ideas and methods of social work practice of the disabled employment counseling skills, the use of group work, improve their employment skills, to improve the quality of employment of people with disabilities, to improve the employment situation of disabled people. This practice activities totaling 5 times, benefit 7 people, through group activities, effectively improve 7 disabled members of the level of employment skills, enhance the confidence of the future employment crew, crew employment has a positive effect, active effect has been recognized by all team members. Theoretically, it will use the methods of social work to the disabled employment counseling skills, enrich and develop the skills of the disabled employment counseling theory; in practice, this study helps to promote the disabled employment skills, alleviate the disabled in the process of employment confidence, develop their potential.
