Mobile Phone Dependence Effect Of Newcomer Workplace Adaptation Issues And Initial Intervention In Social Work

Modern society has entered Internet and Information Age, and as the representative of MT(Mobile Terminal), mobile phone has become an important part of daily life. With the development of science and technology, more and more features and meaning are endued with mobile phone, which have a huge impact on human life. Nowadays, mobile phone dependence phenomenon unconsciously appears on people of different gender, profession and age. This paper, which based on the premise of scientifically and reasonable sharing scientific and technological achievements and the concept of helping others, self-reliance, equality as well as respect in social life, attempts to apply the knowledge what I learned during graduate study into the above concept. With the support of relevant content of comprehensive theory of social work, this paper also has deep study on the mobile phone dependence phenomenon which appears on the particular group in real life.It has a very important practical significance to select freshmen’s adaptation to their workplace as the entry point, which may affect the development of the whole society’s future. Therefore, influenced by this social hot spot, mobile phone dependence phenomenon, what changes will occur on the freshmen’s adaptation to their workplace become a new research direction of the long-term concerned area of the academia.This paper, synthetically using literature review, questionnaire, individual interview and other research methods of social work, firstly, clarifies the relationship among the following concepts, mobile phone dependence, freshmen and workplace adaption, in addition, it has collected some research results of the existing disciplines. Then, start with the common issue on the freshmen’s workplace adaption, there is a more systematic analysis of the mobile phone phenomenon on the freshmen, the relationship as well as the influence between the freshmen and their workplace. At the same time, this paper also explores the possibility of the intervention of the social work.Start with the impact caused by the mobile phone dependence on the freshmen’s workplace adaptation, this paper, which based on the professional perspective of social work and with the support of social theory, taking college graduates in Hohhot as example, surveys a random sampling of the freshmen in this region and designs corresponding questionnaire to this phenomenon for research. Then, combined the theory of social work with author’s own actual situation, the paper provides extensive and timely social support on how to get involved in social work profession to college students’ workplace adaptation. In order to reduce and avoid the side-effect and hazard on the physical and psychology of the freshmen caused by the mobile phone phenomenon, this paper also gives some solutions and recommendations from the perspective of social work profession disciplines. This paper initially explores the impact of this phenomenon on the freshmen’s workplace adaptation and finds the solutions by group work and case work; at the same time, with the support of these surveys, this paper gets some valuable experience and results. In a certain sense, this paper expands the field of social work research and case study, moreover, it provides reference significance on related phenomenon research.
