Tai chi culture is an important part of the Oriental culture, which emphasizes on the entirety, natural and synthetic, it covers the evolution of the birth and death philosophy, philosophy of attack and defense, the health of life philosophy, the traditional Chinese health culture, economic value, intangible brand culture and many other fields. Tai chi chuan as the carrier of tai chi culture, is the representative of the traditional sports in China. Jiaozuo international Tai chi chuan exchange competition is a platform of Chinese tai chi movement towards the world and it is also the best way accepted by the people of the world.Chenjiagou in Henan jiaozuo wen county, serves as the birthplace of Chinese tai chi,has made great contribution on the road to promote the development of tai chi chuan. Since 1992, under the leadership of provincial and municipal governments, has been successfully held the 21 th session of jiaozuo international taijiquan exchange competition. The success of the contest not only help tai chi move faster towards the world, but also help speed up the spread and development of Jiaozuo taiji culture in a deeper level, as well as made great achievements in driving the development of its economy, improve the image of jiaozuo.In this paper, I apply the method of documentary, expert interview, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics, logic analysis to Jiaozuo international taijiquan exchange competition situation and the development of jiaozuo taiji culture to analyze and research deeply, drawing the following conclusions:Firstly, Led by provinces, cities and counties leadership of the government,jiaozuo international taijiquan exchange competition is making the thriving trend development. In size, number, international influence and economic influence,, tai chi culture theory has made gratifying achievements. Although,in the process of development, there are still many deficiencies.For example,it doesn’t form a scientific management system,which causes a lot of problems such as the loss of experience in managing, planning experience, game related data.That makes a lot of game resources waste; Besides,it lacks of the brand positioning in the international competition,as well as,there are not compatible venues and trace medium that can match its international level,all these factors cause the missing opportunity to promote Chinese tai chi, slowing the pace of the Chinese tai chi to the world. The operation mode of the competition is in the control of government comprehensively,which causes so heavy burden for the government that they can’t expand its scale or get rid of the limitations of system, scientific bidding, sponsorship event promotion.In addition, lacking of the advantage of market-oriented management,so it is difficult to form the model "to keep competition by competition". Thus,competition can not be held perfectly, it can’t be able to promote the development of jiaozuo taiji culture.Second, tai chi as the essence of traditional sports in our country, should be attached importance to it, and should be promoted by nationwide. But in reality, the government department for the promotion of tai chi is weak.And there is no such policy support or systematic and specific measures on tai chi chuan propaganda.Thirdly, Jiaozuo international taijiquan exchange competition and the development of jiaozuo taiji culture supple each other. In the process of competition held, Organizers don’t make full use of tai chi cultural to enrich the contest,which causing the competition just be a form of performing patterns rather than a god form of both the international stage.
