Research On The Bazar Culture Of Uyghur

Uyghur Bazar is an universal and multi-functional field which is formed under the basis of self supplying economy in oasis area and hold in turn in every oasis in which Uyghur people settled and plays an important role on the economic life and spiritual world of oasis based Uyghur community. To Uyghur people, Bazar means the guarantee for material exchange as well as being a pillar of their spiritual mind. It is also an important communication center of ethnic groups in their common economic lives and key place for inheriting the ethnic culture.Bazar is the most consisted format of Uyghur society and Uyghur will reflect the social life through Bazar including the wide contents of methodology of production, the pattern of psychogenic and ideation, traditional costumes, ethics of business, traditional education and economic system, etc. Bazar, which is integrated into the social-economics and spiritual life of Uyghur people, is playing a significant role in promoting the ethnic economic community, in developing the commercial economy and in transferring the traditional culture.Under the basis of field investigation and relative documentary files, this paper undertakes a professional research on the Uyghur Bazar. firstly, it concludes that there is an intimate relationships between Uyghur social life and Bazar. It is a usual practice for transferring, inheriting and developing Uyghur folks culture such as dietetics, dressings, handcrafts, business customs. Secondly, from the perspective of time and location, Uyghur Bazar is characterized strongly with absolute ethnic features and regional features. Thirdly, the unique social function of Bazar and its dialectic relationships with social concepts such as politics, economics, cultures and religious shall be presented it self through Bazar activity and transmissions to surrounding place. Finally, Bazar is playing an important role in pushing the development of Uyghur society and meantime social development is also promoting the involvement of Bazar.In brief, in an oasis which Uyghur people inhabited, Bazar is the key consisting part of Uyghur society. Being a carrier of such an economic culture, Uyghur people has to make business and trading, has to exchange the daily necessities as well as the cultural exchange through the Bazar to satisfy the spiritual demands. We can say, Bazar is the window for Uyghurs to understand the world, to Uyghur community, Bazar is not only the place for economic exchange, but also the important base for cultural exchange.
