Research On The Transformation Of The Running Mode Of The Independent Colleges

The independent colleges are the products accompanied by the development of social economy and the process of the popularization of higher education; they have the advantages of the running mode of both the public and private colleges, and also have the normative of public colleges and flexibility of private colleges. It is a new type of running mode which combines the resources of higher education and surplus private capital together and is a kind of new education form in the field of higher education and also an exploration of the education innovation.As for the different running types of the colleges in china, the independent colleges affiliated to the universities refer to the type that the funds and the property and assets are completely belongs to the parent universities. This kind of independent colleges share a great extent of various advantages and convenient conditions of the parent universities, so from the beginning of the creation, they have received great attention and sustained welcome. While at present, almost all of these independent colleges are faced with the objective requirements of the running mode transformation. In this way, it will be of great significance to summarize the development situation, the experience of running type and to think the further development.In this paper, it reviews the development situation and the research status quo of the independent colleges at first, and then sums up the types of the running mode and the unique features of them. Based on this, it gives an in-depth analysis of the current situation of the independent colleges affiliated to universities, and explores the relevant problems and causes of them. Taking the Zhongbei College of Nanjing Normal University as an example, it shows the current situation of independent colleges of this kind. At last, it gives suggestions of the reform goal and the system of transformation. They are from both the subjective and objective aspects, such as the government guidance, streamline administration and institute decentralization of universities, clear development orientation and the training system and so on. It is hoped that it can offer some beneficial reference to the reform and development of the independent colleges in China.
