Today’s society is an age of science and technology and talent as the leading.To develop science and technology and training talents must start when they are young, so the primary school education is particularly important, especially the elementary school science which include physics, chemistry, biology and astronomy geography science. In the 1980 s a series of reform of the elementary school science education are started in the country. Although there are differences in contents and teaching methods, all countries emphasize the "scientific inquiry". To make scientific inquiry activities must have corresponding materials and teaching AIDS. Although now elementary school education equipment is improved,these experimental equipment to be added to can’t satisfy the demand for materials to science inquiry activity.Homemade materials make up the lack of teaching facilities, and plays a very important role in promoting pupils’ understanding of knowledge and cultivating pupils’ observation ability, practicing ability, innovation ability and motivating primary school students learning interest in science and scientific inquiry spirit. According to the author’s investigation, the author find that the current elementary school teaching AIDS still have many shortcomings, and many teachers also studied the advantages and disadvantages of these materials, but very few teachers will do it yourself to create and improve the teaching AIDS. Therefore, research on this subject is of more practical value.This article is divided into five chapters altogether.The first chapter is an introduction part. The author analyzes the research status of self-made teaching AIDS for scholars both at home and abroad.Self-made teaching aid and theoretically discusses application of elementary school science teaching for students to learn science, which provides a theoretical basis for study of the self-made teaching aid..Then analyzes the significance of self-made teaching AIDS. The second chapter is the understanding of the connotation of the self-made teaching aid.The author defines the concept of teaching AIDS and self-made teaching AIDS and expounds the important role of self-made teaching AIDS to science teaching and the characteristics of the self-made teaching AIDS.Finally the author summarizes the steps of self-made teaching aid. The third chapter is the the investigation and analysis of elementary school science of self-made teaching AIDS situation.This paper summarizes the results of questionnaire and interview survey, and finally determine the theme of self-made teaching AIDS.It is clear about the main AIDS which the author want to make. The fourth chapter is the focus of the full text,which in detail elaborated the production background of teaching AIDS, improvement and innovation, production materials, production methods and using methods. The author actively to make the teaching AIDS, it is very in view of the practical teaching, is of great use value in the primary school teaching.The author hope that through this tool to promote some pupils better in science inquiry activity, and hope that by the introduction of the method of designing and manufacturing of this some AIDS,it will guide the elementary school science teacher and inspire the teachers themselves with the passion of making the teaching AIDS.The fifth chapter is a summary and reflection on the full text.
