Mathematics is closely related to human development and social progress of the applied science, the biggest charm of Mathematics is that it comes from life and serve life. One of the basic idea of Compulsory education mathematics curriculum standards (2011 edition) is mathematics education based on life, based on the society, based on the students real life world. But the reality of the elementary school mathematics teaching is not very desirable, under the background of new curriculum reform, the concept of life teaching was introduced into the elementary school mathematics classroom, elementary school mathematics classroom has injected vigor and vitality. Elementary mathematics life—oriented teaching to cultivate all-round development of the theory and practice research of talent, has important theoretical and practical significance.The first part of paper discusses the research background and significance, domestic and foreign related research status and research methods. Through a comprehensive and in-depth study of literature collection, sorting, generalization, the relevant concepts are defined, A more vivid understanding of the elementary school mathematics teaching life,the elementary school mathematics teaching life is the actual living close to the students’ learning mathematics, let the students in their familiar experience and explore in the situations of life and give students the practice of applied mathematics knowledge, realize the value of the application of mathematics., The author combines her internship experience based on compulsory education mathematics curriculum standards (2011 edition) study, starting from the actual lists the elementary school mathematics classroom teaching problems of life.
