The Performance And Countermeasures Of University Student Ideological And Political Theory Course Which Is Less Attractive

Chinese Party Central Committee has always attached great importance to the construction of the ideological and political theory course,and repeatedly stressed the need to adopt a variety of measures to strengthen the ideological and political theory teaching more attractive and effective.May 13,2010, Minister of Education Yuan Guiren delivered an important speech which entitled "Efforts to make ideological and political theory course become a true favorite of students, lifelong benefit, unforgettable courses",pointed that ideological and political theory course lacks relevance, effectiveness, attractiveness and appeal;and teaching content, form and means needed innovation, teaching effectiveness should be further enhanced.In accordance with the requirements of the Chinese Party Central Committee,efforts to improve the attractiveness of the ideological and political theory teaching is an important theoretical and practical issues of The Principles of Ideological and Political Education.The full text is divided into three parts.The first part explains the meaning and constituents of the attractiveness of the ideological and political theory teaching.ideological and political theory teaching attractive include:the attractiveness of teaching objectives,the attractiveness of teachers,the attractiveness of teaching content,the attractiveness of teaching methods,the attractiveness of teaching atmosphere.The second part analyzes the performance and the main reason of ideological and political theory teaching that less attractive.Mainly as follows:less ideological and political theory course attendance; some college students are lazy neglect when learning ideological and political theory courses; some college students have negative emotions when learning ideological and political theory courses; some college students are passive when learning ideological and political theory course.The main reasons include:content is not reasonable; method used incorrectly; low moral qualities and ability of some teachers; subjectivity of college students is not enough; the negative impact of environmental factors.The third part discusses countermeasures to enhance the attractiveness of the ideological and political theory courses:strengthen the truth and relevance of the content of the course;proper use the method of teaching;Improve teachers’ ideological and political qualities and professionalism;create a good ideological and political theory teaching environment.
