The power has been the basic concept of the social sciences, which is the key point of Sociology, Politics and other social science. In the past twenty years, with the development of social psychology, especially the rise of the study of social cognition, social psychologists pay attention to the test of power, scholars gradually carried out research on power and try to explain its variety effect. In numerous studies, Fiske put forward the Power-as-Control model,connecting the power and stereotype, it suggests that power is control, the powerful may stereotype others by paying more attention to the stereotype-consistent information, so that power enhance stereotype. This paper add the responsibility as a moderator to research combined with precious research, on the basis of studying the relationship between power and stereotype, in order to f explore the mechanism between power and stereotype.The structure of this paper is divided into five parts. The first part introduces the research background and the significance, the innovation points and methods, and summarizes the structure; the second part carries on the summary to the stereotype, power, power control theory and related research status; the third part design the experiment from the definition, hypothesis and process, this paper use the method of psychological experiment with college students as samples, study the efficiency of power by assigning different roles; the fourth part come to the conclusion based on the statistical analysis of experimental data; finally this paper provides some constructive suggestions to reduce the negative effect of leader stereotype the subordinates in organizational management. Meanwhile, we discuss the limitation of the research from sample selection, design of experiment and statistical methods, and provide some suggestions for the forward research.This paper has follow conclusions:In the low sense of responsibility, compared to those powerless, the powerful devote more attention to the stereotype-consistent information than stereotype-inconsistent information, forming the stereotype impression to others. In the high sense of responsibility, the subject pay more attention to the information of the target on the whole, the attention to the stereotype-inconsistent information is higher than the attention to stereotype-consistent information. All in all, responsibility has a moderating effect on the relationship between power and stereotype.
