| As the rapid development of the world economy and increasingly fierce competition of talents, China’s higher education has gradually entered into popular education from elite education. The whole society excepts more technical and management personnels with strong professional ability and high comprehensive quality. Therefore, the quality education of polytechnic colleges have been facing great challenges under such circumstance.Since it’s being a late starter, and also affected by human factors, management factors, model factors and other factors, the Comprehensive Evaluation System for polytechnic college students still stays in the traditional evaluation stage, with characteristics of no clear formational function, no standard evaluation system and with a relatively slow development ability. This study, aiming at develop Comprehensive Evaluation System for polytechnic college students, introduces competency theory in it, refines outstanding vocational students’competency, classifies indicators according to the competency model and builds an evaluation system by itself.This study employs research methods as questionnaire method, interview method and quantitative analysis method to analysis the indicators’degree of membership, relevance, discernment. Then this study established23indicators as evaluation indicators for outstanding polytechnic students. Those indicators can be categorized as "personal qualities and motivation","self-awareness and social roles","professional knowledge and skills".This study combines society demands for talents and our goal of talents training together, and integrates the Comprehensive Evaluation System for polytechnic college students with social demands of talents, provides a basis for polytechnic colleges in improving the quality of students training, with the hope that polytechnic colleges could utilize this Comprehensive Evaluation System to achieve the goal of promoting the comprehensive development of people, to serve the society. |
