Research On Present Situation And Influential Factors Of Development Of Volleyball Course In Middle Schools In Hunan Province

In the "Sports and Health" course of junior high schools, volleyball lessons have been an important part of PE in the school curriculum system, and played a crucial role in the "Sports and Health" course of7-9grade junior high school. In1980s,2003and2004, the Chinese women’s volleyball world won the first place several times. Then the mass media put increasing focus on reporting and announcing the event of volleyball, which was inspired by the atmosphere and the people’s rising passion on volleyball. The increasing popularity of volleyball made society and schools put more emphasis on this sport,so citizens and students got more chances to get the knowledge of volleyball, and the sport was further popularized. But in recent years the development of volleyball was affected by the high marketing and commercialization of sports, like the establishment of the United States professional basketball league, the Premier League, La Liga, UEFA Champions League fiery, so that the general public, especially the student’s attractions of Volleyball declined. The decreasing number of students who want to participate in volleyball activities has an major impact on the spreading of volleyball courses. Meanwhile, because of the distinct lack of professional teachers, facilities and equipment, many students in junior high school lost their optimum time to learn the skills of volleyball. And students’ interests on volleyball were limited by inappropriate arrangement of the content of the course, which some schools made. These problems were not only the defects that can not be avoided in the development of volleyball course in junior high school, but also the difficulties that should be solved in the development of the volleyball in the whole country.The research is based on the current situation of the development of volleyball in the junior high schools of Human Province.I hope to identify the factors that affect the development of volleyball in the junior high schools of Human Province and make several constructive suggestions which can have impact on the provoking students’interests in volleyball, arranging the content of the volleyball course in junior high school and the development of this sport. So the volleyball activities in the junior high schools of Human Province can be promoting.Students can have a deeper understanding of volleyball, and then their passion of volley ball can be stimulated. As the result of it, the students can understand the benefits of sports to themselves and improve the fitness level of their bodies effectively.At last they can be all-around developing talents of the contemporary society, which meets the goal of education for all-around development.
