The National Volleyball Traditional Project School is the highest level in the volleyball traditional school and plays a leading role in provincial and municipal volleyball traditional schools.Its development plays an important role in the continuous development of volleyball traditional schools.In this paper,the current situation of volleyball in all the two national volleyball traditional schools in Guangdong Province during the period from 2016 to 2020 is studied.The basic situation of the two schools,the development of volleyball teaching,the development of after-school activities and the volleyball training of amateur volleyball And the race conducted in-depth study,the following conclusions:First,the number of national volleyball traditional project schools in Guangdong Province is relatively small,and the leadership attention and capital investment need to be strengthened.Second,Guangdong Province,the two national-level volleyball traditional school physical education teachers to bachelor's degree,volleyball courts less volleyball classes overall situation is not ideal,a single teaching content.Third,two state-level volleyball traditional schools in Guangdong Province have a low awareness of traditional volleyball schools,and each school student has more than one hour of physical activity each day.However,the number of students participating in volleyball after-school activities is relatively small.Four,Guangdong Province,the two national-level volleyball traditional project schools have a total of four teams of men and women,training is more formal,in the provincial and municipal competitions many times to obtain excellent results,but to participate in high-level regular games less;training athletes grade mostly One or two,most of the students eventually enter colleges and universities to further their studies.Fifth,Guangdong province volleyball traditional project school athletes learn the contradiction is still more prominent.Six recommendations: leaders at all levels should step up the emphasis on traditional volleyball schools at all levels,increase investment,strengthen the quality of traditional volleyball schools project supervision,improve the evaluation system,strengthen the construction of school venues and equipment,volleyball teaching and extracurricular sports activities Further standardize management.We attach great importance to solving the contradictions in the training of athletes gradually,strengthening exchanges between schools in volleyball traditional projects and exchanges between other schools and learning from each other.Enhance coaching staff's teaching and research level,to encourage coaches to participate in training.
