Research Of The Problems And The Countermeasures Of Higher Vocational Colleges’ Finantial Aid Work For The Students Having Family Economic Difficulties

With the improvement of the education system in our country, how to let the students having family economic difficulties accept higher education is becoming more and more important, because it’s not only a reflection of social superiority but also an important guarantee of national economic development. In order to ensure that part of the students having family economic difficulties finish their studies, the government has adopted a series of measures. With the unceasing development and improvement, higher education student aid system of "scholarship, loan, financial aid, subsidize and tuition reduction" gradually set up. Higher vocational colleges have their own particularity in high education system. Research of Suzhou Institute of Trade and Commerce’s financial aid work for students having economic difficulties has important theoretical value and guidance significance to the other higher vocational colleges.On the basis of related research at home and abroad for reference, this paper analyzes the development of financial aid system in high education. It discusses the Suzhou Institute of Trade and Commerce’s financial aid work present situation using the research methods such as literature review, questionnaire survey and case interview. It also evaluates the effect of the work, analyzes the problems existing in the financial aid work and puts forward the policies and suggestions to improve the financial aid work.
