The chemical experiment is an important content of chemistry as well as the basic of summariness chemical theory and the method of verifying chemical deduction. So it’s of great theoretical and practical importance to contrast the experiment part in Chinese textbook to American’s.In order to analysis the characteristics of experiment part of Chinese and American’s textbook and teach for students by the mutual integration of teaching design, the paper contrast the introductory textbook of China and America,"Science Explorer Chemical Interaction" with the experiment part of textbook" Chemistry " published by the People’s Education Press through comparative study, literature research, case studies.According to the research on static contrast of textbooks, there are both differences and respective advantages between American and Chinese textbooks in the philosophy of chemical experiments, selection of laboratory supplies and preparation of experimental contents. During preparation for an experiment, we should make it more definite for experimental objectives and observation details, make proper modification to laboratory supplies, intensify correlations between different disciplines, appropriately increase quantitative experiments, and strengthen safety education. Based on teaching practices, it makes an improvement to the students’interests in learning chemistry by integrating experiment teaching contents of American and Chinese textbooks. Besides, this integration is beneficial for the students to deepen their understanding of chemical experiments, and improve their capabilities in chemical experiments. Moreover, such integration allows a better combination between chemistry and production and daily life, and finally makes improvements to the students’ performances in chemistry to some extent.
