As a new curriculum, general technology curriculum has less resources, teaching models and methods than traditional subjects. So we need to flexible use a variety of advanced teaching methods, teaching mode to achieve teaching objectives and completing the task of teaching. In the actual teaching practice most teachers are in accordance with the traditional subject teaching mode and method of teaching, it makes the classroom lack of vitality and fun, students’ learning enthusiasm is not high, students are difficult to learn from the technology class. How to change the situation becomes a topic that worthy of studying and exploring. Moodle platform as one of the mainstream curriculum management system, introducing it into the general technology class can give students an autonomous learning, cooperative exploration, informatization of interactive learning platform, and it is helpful to improve the efficiency of classroom teaching.This paper firstly expounds the theoretical basis of teaching practice based on Moodle platform; Secondly introduces the platform module function, and on the basis of the Moodle platform’s structures constructs a general technology curriculum website; Thirdly give the teaching design and teaching practice process that based on Moodle and makes it into teaching practice, select the appropriate teaching mode, multi-mode according to the different aspects of teaching practice and introduce the virtual classrooms and GISMO (graphical interactive student tracking system monitoring tool) to the general technology classroom innovatively, allowing students to use a variety of contexts in the digital learning resources for self-learning, collaborative inquiry learning, knowledge of the significance of the completion of the construction of remote students while allowing teachers exploration in order to adjust all aspects of teaching strategies; Finally, evaluate and analyze the performance results of the students of the two classes (one class on Moodle teaching practice, one does not), the results show that high school general technical teaching carried on Moodle has certain advantages.The study provides a new classroom idea for the high school general technical teaching, helping to stimulate students’ interest in technology, improving the efficiency of classroom, making the high school general technical curriculum useful. I hope our educators using Moodle platform can learn from the experience.
