The Modular Teaching Mode Design And Application Of Basic Computer Engineering Based On Moodle Platform

With the improvement and development in technology of science, computers have been widely used in all fields of life and production. Mastering the basic knowledge and skills of computer have become the basic past of personnel training in colleges and universities in China. As requirement of businesses and institutions for computer skills of university graduates become higher, using computers to solve practical problems have become an essential skills for the employment of college students.However, in the courses teaching of basic computer, many teachers have encountered many problems, traditional teaching methods can not meet the current requirements of modern college students ’learning needs. This study focuses on cultivating basic computer skills of college students, in particular, the design and practice ability, and applies modular teaching in the teaching of basic computer to improve the quality and effectiveness of teaching.This system studied the trends and results of the research on modular teaching at home and abroad, it researched the applications of the Moodle platform. Application of modular teaching determine the module teaching model in the process of basic computer course application.According to the modular teaching process of Basic Computer, combining analysis of teaching and the divide of Basic Computer course’s module, taking advantage of Moodle platform, the author designed and developed the network courseware of Basic Computer course modular teaching.Those participants in the study are the Guangxi Teachers Education University’s students of 2014 th English specialty in class three and the students of 2014 th airborne rides the service specialty in class two, applying the network courseware of Basic Computer course modular teaching to practice the modular teaching that based on Moodle platform. Through three action studies, I constantly amended and improved the structure-function of Moodle’modular teaching platform, initially formed the training strategy of modular teaching that based on Moodle platform, initially concluded the characteristic of modular teaching that based on Moodle platform. At last, the study was made through questionnaires and interviews to analyze the application effect of modular teaching that based on Moodle platform. These survey findings show that, most of the students enjoy the modular teaching method that based on Moodle platform, and this method’s teaching effect is good.The modular teaching method that based on Moodle platform come up somewhat short, it is mainly because of I have not fully considered student’ computer literacy and skills. In the other hand, modular teaching network courseware’ interface that developed is still single and unsteady.
