In this study144vocational college PE teachers in Fujian province were taken as the research objects for the investigation of perception of their school ecological environment and job satisfaction; Cai Chuanming’s Questionnaire for PE Teachers’School Ecological Working Environment Awareness was adopted as the measurement for school ecological environment perception, the personal data of the fifth and sixth item of the original questionnaire modified and its seventh item deleted according to the actual situation; Dr. Lu Guoguang’s revision of Teachers’Job Satisfaction Questionnaire was used for the job satisfaction measurement. Both questionnaires for the investigation were scored through Likert5. Using software of SPSS18.0and Excel, the investigation data of the study was utilized for the descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression analysis to explore the vocational college PE teachers’status quo of the school ecological environment perception, their job satisfaction and the relationship between the two.The results of the study are as follows:1. The overall level of the school ecological environment perception on the part of vocational college PE teachers in Fujian province is general. Among the six factors, the interpersonal scores are the highest and the pay packets the lowest. The job satisfaction of these teachers is slightly higher than the median; among the five dimensions of the questionnaire, the factor of teaching satisfaction scores the highest and the factor of income satisfaction lowest.2. The school ecological environment perception on the part of vocational college PE teachers in Fujian province does not vary in terms of gender and position, nor are there differences associated with age, educational background, years of teaching, professional title, and professional speciality. But there exist significant differences in the levels of colleges and universities and in their feelings related to their personal income. The least significant difference method is employed in the study and the conclusion is reached as follows:in college level discrepancy, the difference between provincial model colleges and ordinary colleges is significant and, in the feeling of personal income, the cannot-make-ends-meet group differs significantly with the basically-satisfied group and the group with small surplus.3. There is a significant positive correlation between the job satisfaction and school ecological environment perception, and the impact of the president behavior and the teaching condition factors on the job satisfaction of vocational college PE teachers is relatively distinct while the interpersonal relationship factors influence their job satisfaction in a less obvious way.4. On the whole, the school ecological environment perception on the part of vocational college PE teachers in Fujian province has a positive role in the shaping of their job satisfaction and, except the variables of the interpersonal relationships, five other variables have significant predictive power, among which the president behavior factors are the strongest.
