Since the "05plans" was carried out, the teaching practice of ideological and politicaltheory courses has been reformed and theoretical and practical research has been strengthenedto improve the weak link by colleges and universities. Correspondingly, theoreticalachievements on practice teaching have been increasing, but they give too much attention onthe qualitative analysis and summaries of specific issues. The reform is still under explorationat present, namely "touching stone across the river" stage. Thus, it’s good for theory coursesand ideological and political education to concentrate on the study of the practice teachingreform deeply and systematically and find out an effective way to carry on the reform.There are three ways to carry out the practice teaching reform, namely the courseoriented, the social practice oriented and both course and social practice oriented, and each ofthem has pros and cons. Generally speaking, the third way is more beneficial to pertinenceand continuity of the practice teaching. The investigation of the practice teaching reformshows that the reform has been fruitful, but also has some problems, such as understandingdeviation, normative implementation, guarantee mechanism, evaluation mechanism, thecombination of practice teaching and theory teaching, lack of leading role of teachers, etc.therefore, the practice teaching still has some room to improve and promote. According toabove solving problems, we put forward the influencing factors among which can besummarized three first grade indexes, namely attitude, difficulty and devotion; Seven secondgrade indexes, namely administrators, teachers and students, complexity and lagginginstitution,degree of participation and material input.In order to promote the practice teaching reform deeply, we have some steps. Firstly,making a reform strategy from the top level to grasp reform’s goals and tasks, adopt anappropriate way of reform and formulate scientific plans; what is more, taking three concreteschemes according to the influence factors, transforming the attitudes, perfecting the circulatemechanism and increasing participants’ devotions. Changing traditional teaching concept,improving the scientific understanding of the practice teaching, and creating good socialatmosphere can make participants’ attitudes tend to be positive. Integrating and optimizingresources and establishing and improving related systems, such as management mechanism,examination assessment system and incentive system can reduce the implementary difficultyto some extent. Devotions of schools, teachers and students should be increased to practiceteaching, especially teachers’ leading role devotions, such as the contents design,implementation level and various forms of the practice teaching.
