Application Of The Photography Technology For The Evaluation Of The Teen’s Flexibility

Objective:According to the research status for test methods of the flexibility of the teen’s torso. This article aims to create a new sample and convenient methods with a set of photography device to evaluate the flexibility of the teen’s torso. This methods enrich the test methods of the flexibility measurement, improve the indicators of the flexibility. Provide a reference for the establishment of a new flexible quality evaluation system. Method:The subjects are the53students from Beijing Sports University, their majors are Kinesiology, Physical Education and Department of martial art. By means of the photography method and using spine inclination angle tester, we evaluate their flexibility of torso with three largest range of motions:the dorsiflexion, the left-and-right rotation and left-and-right bending.13subjects were randomly selected took the repeatability test with photography method. The measurement results are saved in the form of photographs, processing by the graphic software of Coredraw. The index of the flexibility of torso was quantified with the angle. The reliability and validity of the photography method were verified through statistical methods. Result: The first test results meet the normal distribution. The motions of dorsiflexion and the left-and-right rotation were big fluctuation, the motion of the left-and-right bending was relatively small fluctuation. We took the reliability test with the twice tested result of the13samples, the result of the two tests were in a high degree of correlation. It means that the test repeatability. We took the validity test with the result of the photography method. The results showed a high correlation coefficient in two tests. Conclusion:(1) The result of the photography method can deliver the flexibility of the teen’s torso.(2) The photography method for evaluating the flexibility of the teen’s torso has the possibility to used in the large sample size test.(3) The photography method for evaluating the flexibility of the teen’s torso can provide a reference for future automated measurement.
