The teaching of Selected readings in Tang and Song Poetry should achieve theobjectives that students understand and appreciate poems as well as find ways to appreciatepoetry in class. Selected readings in Tang and Song Poetry in teaching should be practicaland teach students a knack of learning poetry so that students can have a betterunderstanding of poetry. The research subject of this article is teaching of Selectedreadings in Tang and Song Poetry. First of all, the article will analyze the characteristicsand teaching aims of the teaching material, that is, Selected readings in Tang and SongPoetry, of which teachers can have a good command. Second, the article focuses onanalyzing the teaching status of Selected readings in Tang and Song Poetry, where we canfind teachers teach the content with simple ways, students lack enthusiasm and good habitsfor study and the class is short of teaching craft. According to problems mentioned above,this article attributes the reasons to insufficient preparations of teachers, short ofself-conscious of students and lacking effectiveness in classroom teaching. The topic ofthis article focuses on the tactics of dealing with teaching material, classroom teaching andstudents learning, which based on teaching experience of the author. After researching, thearticle can put forward situational teaching, dynamic teaching and activity method ofteaching so that reference can be provided for the teaching of Selected readings in Tangand Song Poetry. May this article provide teachers on the front some help on teachingSelected readings in Tang and Song Poetry.
